Award of the ALLOD Materials Prize

Tim Beuerlein, a graduate of the Master’s programme in Product and System Development at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, was awarded the 13th ALLOD Materials Prize 2022. He wrote a graduation thesis on the topic of “Determination and optimisation of mechanical component properties in the material extrusion process”. The thesis was mentored by Prof. Dr. Ludwig Schlenk. The award, which is endowed with a thousand euros, is presented every year by the company ALLOD Werkstoff GmbH in Burgbernheim to students who produce the best final thesis that was supervised in the Plastics and Elastomer Technology degree programme.
