“Plopp” closure with ALLRUNA has tradition

With the smart advertising slogan “Das flenst”, the Flensburg brewery Emil Petersen, one of the few large private breweries in Germany, advertises its beer. In contrast to the current trend in beer consumption, business is going well.

A small contribution to this success has also been made by the ALLRUNA material used as a sealing material in swing stoppers for a good ten years. It was developed specifically for this application in cooperation with the Flensburg brewery. In addition to its cost-effectiveness, it is characterized by its low oxygen permeability, insensitivity to mold and, last but not least, the typical “plopp” noise when opening.
