CLIMATE STRATEGY & ENERGY
Sustainability through innovation
Learn how we reduce our CO₂ footprint and take on social responsibility within the company.
Our company places great importance on sustainability and responsible action. We are aware of our cross-generational responsibility to develop products that are not only safe and of high quality but also manufactured in an environmentally friendly way. Protecting nature and ensuring the well-being of future generations are at the center of our actions. For example, we currently generate more than 30% of the electricity we consume ourselves. We aim to continuously increase this share through further investments in various storage technologies. We are consistently committed to promoting sustainable solutions and contributing to a better and safer future.

Resources & circular economy
Presentation of how ALLOD conserves resources and reduces waste through recycling of production scrap, circular concepts, and optimization of material usage. Our production residues are fed back into the material cycle to minimize waste.

Energy management
In addition to our certification according to DIN EN ISO 50001, we continuously implement further concepts to optimize our energy consumption.
Solar capacities:: Over the past 10 years, we have steadily expanded our solar capacities in order to cover as much of our energy consumption as possible from our own sources. Currently, this share is already over 30%. This saves more than 100 tons of CO₂ annually compared to the standard electricity mix in Germany.

Circular economy concepts
For years, we have been supporting our customers in the implementation of closed material cycles.
Resource efficiency: : In this way, we not only promote the maximization of resource efficiency but also enable the use of sustainable TPE products.
Material recovery: : At the same time, we are able to reprocess our own production waste on-site in order to make raw materials available for suitable, high-quality applications. This not only reduces waste volumes but also conserves existing resources.

Material usage optimization
We continuously optimize the use of materials in the development of our products through the use of special small-scale systems.
Development time:: In addition to reducing the development time for new materials to a minimum, this also requires significantly fewer raw materials and less energy compared to conventional machines.
Process efficiency:: At the same time, we use the waste heat from our processes to heat our buildings.
